Located in the heart of the Bas-Armagnac vineyard, Artez produces bas-armagnacs, absinthes, pastis and liqueurs in the respect of the tradition. Know-how, experience and passion are the essential ingredients to guarantee the quality of our products.

Attached to the tradition, to the respect of the product, our priority is the quality of the spirits that we propose. Since 1995, our activity is developing and our passion is expressed through our products.
In February 2002, the history of Artez is marked by the meeting of Jean-Michel Berneau, producer of absinthe, who will buy the activity in April of the same year.
We cultivate the plants that we use in the still. This agricultural aspect of our business allows us to control every link in the production chain; from our plant to your glass.
This attention to detail sets us apart from traditional distilleries. At Artez, production is small and artisanal.

The history of absinthe has been eventful, full of twists and turns. From its prohibition in France in 1915 to its authorization to return to the market in 2001, absinthe has an amazing history. Born in Switzerland, it is today a drink of character consumed as an aperitif. Respecting tradition in its production pays tribute to this history.
